You get enough mounting hardware to make an endpoint triangular tension on three reels which makes for extremely easy use when you are in VR. If you set it up properly you shouldn't have much cabling in the way.
About a week ago I got my VR pulley system (Kiwi). I am still waiting for my HMD to come but already have my tripods for my base stations set up in my room. I had a few concerns about the pully system. The main one being much distance I lose with my cable using it.
- The main pulley directly above and slightly behind the center of your head while standing in the center of the play area. This pulley will handle all the cable from your head to the ceiling and should have a large, open hole for the cable to slide in and out of.
First the kiwi. It's a definite improvement from the cable laying on the floor and found that a cable management system is a must for VR. Then I heard about the dangler and I liked the idea behind it, mainly the horn as I was always getting the cable caught around the speakers.
