If you hang right and go for 5-7 minutes on the main road, you'll come up to a painted rock on your left. It's kinda hard to describe, but look right and go on top of that hill. You can shoot long range on the backside with great visibility in all directions. There's steel set up to what looks like 1000+ yards, but it's not mine!
There's a dozen shooting spots that people use regularly here. https://goo.gl/maps/96u7EonvtseFPmcdA. If you don't mind a drive the range fee for the country shooting range is reasonable (7$ I think) Please be especially aware this time of year about your target shooting.
