I have received two notices that states I need to remove all template text and guides from your cover file. What do I need to do to fix this? We thought we removed them but apparently not. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!
After you have your cover set, you need to remove the template so you don't have the guidelines visible, showing through on your cover. Then flatten your layers. There can also be text placesetters inadvertantly left on the cover. Sometimes they are very small and faint. Ah, more fun with templates! Really, you'd be better off with Cover Creator.
Important: Make sure to remove any template sample text from your final manuscript. If there is remaining template text in your manuscript, you may receive an error on upload, or your manuscript may be rejected on review.

25 sty 2024 · But I keep getting this error message when I try to publish: Cover: "Remove all template text and guides from your cover file." I uploaded the cover that a professional designer had created and I always make sure to unblock "guides" in the previewer.
