Kim Lim (1936–1997) was a Singaporean-British sculptor and printmaker of Chinese descent. She is most recognized for her abstract wooden and stone-carved sculptures that explore the relationship between art and nature, and works on paper that developed alongside her sculptural practice. [1]
Abraham Diepraam, or Diepraem (23 January 1622 – 16 July 1670), was a Dutch Golden Age painter. The Barroom, painted in 1665. According to Houbraken, he first learned to paint from the father of Dirk Stoop, who had been a good glasspainter, and then he became a pupil of Hendrik Martenszoon Sorgh. [1] .
