To retrieve the error code on your carbon monoxide alarm, perform the following steps: Push and hold the Peak Level button. You will see an E and an O followed by a number. Contact product support at 1-800-880-6788 and provide us the error code, along with the model number, assembly number and date of manufacture from the back of your unit.

If your Kidde carbon monoxide detector displays the L6 error code, it means that the device has reached the end of its life and needs to be replaced. The L6 error code is a warning that the detector can no longer detect carbon monoxide and is no longer providing protection to your home and family.
Reset your device. To do so, press the button on the face of the alarm for about 8 seconds and you will hear 3 consecutive beeps. Upon release of the button, you should hear "Resetting Wireless Settings. Ready to connect, follow quick-start instructions." Your alarm is now factory reset and you can follow the in-app steps to set up the alarm.
