13 lut 2024 · Initial Certification. Candidates trained in Kentucky must: Complete an Educator Preparation Program approved by the EPSB; Complete an application and submit official transcripts of all graduate and undergraduate coursework;
5 lip 2024 · To serve as a teacher, an individual must possess a teaching certificate. The Option 9 alternative route only provides for initial certification once the candidate completes the bachelor’s degree and certification assessments.
Only the individual educator can access the certificate, as he or she must log into the personal EPSB account. School districts should verify the educator’s credential information listed on the printed copy certificate in Kentucky Educator Certification Inquiry (KECI) on the EPSB website.
