22 lis 2022 · Rogue: Unfortunately, kender don't work particularly well as rogues. While they are known to be good at sneaking and stealing, the rogue's Cunning Action combined with their lack of CHA, INT, or WIS means that Taunt won't be very effective.
28 lis 2022 · A Kender lore bard can max out their action economy by using Vicious Mockery as an Action, Taunt as their Bonus Action, and Cutting Words as their Reaction, and spend all of their actions for a round doing nothing except insulting people.
As a bonus action, you can unleash a string of provoking words at a creature within 60 feet of yourself that can hear and understand you. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or it has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you until the start of your next turn.
Since the new UA came out, it seems that WotC is trying to push Kender in a new direction away from their obnoxious and kleptomaniac past. Reflecting this, what are some interesting ideas you have for Kender characters that don't play into their toxic past?
