22 lis 2022 · Rogue: Unfortunately, kender don't work particularly well as rogues. While they are known to be good at sneaking and stealing, the rogue's Cunning Action combined with their lack of CHA, INT, or WIS means that Taunt won't be very effective.
28 lis 2022 · The Kender’s signature racial trait is Taunt, which allows them to debuff a creature as a Bonus Action, making it difficult for the target to attack other creatures. Taunt is satisfying in a number of ways, but it does mean that the Kender favors builds with higher mental ability scores over strictly martial builds.
A lesser investment would be at least one level of fighter to get +2 to hit, or three to get battlemaster (with Rogues, to hit bonuses are very important). Either way, partial investments are worth it. Ranger would also emphasize role as scout, but... Rogues straight get rogue skills.
Dip Rogue with your last 2 levels for cunning action Hide. You get Advantage by default, enemies get disadvantage. You also can't be targeted by any spells that require visible targets.
22 sty 2023 · UA, or Unearthed Arcana, is where we see all of the playtesting material for fifth edition Dungeons and Dragons, and it’s currently where kender live. Of course, kender aren’t new to D&D by any means, so it’s pretty likely that they’ll be returning in print at some point.
22 lis 2022 · Between playing a kender and a rogue, you will have tons of skill proficiencies to choose from. If you want to lean heavily into having all the skills, Psi-Bolstered Knack greatly increases your chances of each success by allowing you to add a die to the roll with no additional cost to you.
12 gru 2021 · Their armor is a straight AC upgrade, especially with the rogue's DEX, and allows for advantage on Stealth checks. This, combined with Darkvision and telepathy can make for an extremely stealthy baseline rogue build.
