This weekend I’m competing in a tournament about 2 hours away. The pattern listed is Kegel’s Beaten Path. I was wondering if anyone had any tips based off of their experience for the pattern.

The Kegel Challenge Patterns are quite popular among amateurs and intermediate bowlers. The Tungsten and Titanium patterns from the Element Series have also gained a great reputation among average bowlers.

Depending on the location where this pattern is being laid down, I would attack as if I were playing on the given house shot of that particular house. The "beaten path" for most houses is between 2nd and 3rd arrow with a break point around 9.
23 sty 2010 · I bowled twice so far on this Kegel Challenge Series pattern. I'd say it will play according to the surface it's put down on. Meaning where the most worn part of the lane is which would be the track in most places. Old wood would be more difficult than newer synthetic.

7 lut 2008 · Beaten Path - 3141 This 41 foot pattern is much like the MIDDLE ROAD but two feet longer. Because of this added length, the options of attack will be a little more limited and the pattern will usually play where the most worn or highest friction part of the lane surface is.
