Located adjacent to the Willey House Historic Site, the Kedron Flume Trail is a short but steep climb up to a small waterfall, located along the sidewall of Crawford Notch.
There are at least seven waterfalls within the boundaries of Crawford Notch State Park. Some are heavily visited (Arethusa Falls, Bemis Falls, Ripley Falls, Flume Cascade, Silver Cascade), one is off-trail and infrequently bushwhacked to (Willey Brook Falls), and then there is Kedron Flume.
The Kedron Flume Trail is used by hikers to access 4000-footer Mt. Willey, but along the way, the trail crosses Kedron Flume, a long series of cascades. It's only a mile up the trail and hiking to it does not involve any serious climbing.
Kedron Flume is a stunning and very tall waterfall located in Hart’s Location, New Hampshire within Crawford Notch State Park. About 150 feet of the waterfall can be viewed from the trail and it can be found along Kedron Brook.
