I've known some guys who use the Kask Zenith. They claim it's durable and long lasting. I personally own a Studson and it's definitely the best helmet i've ever owned. They're lightweight and sturdy, plus the magnetic chinstrap is very ergonomic to use.
14 lis 2022 · Reviews from real arborists on KASK helmets: In my opinion, the Kask super plasma is the lightest, coolest, and most comfortable helmet on the market. However, once you add ear protection, visors, and coms all helmets get heavy.
26 lut 2017 · The only one I’ve used this the Kask Plasma and it does the job. I don’t have the muffs for it because I wear earplugs at the moment. The Kask is much more comfortable than the Petzl rock climbing helmets I have used in the past so that is my only basis of comparison.
I have had the Kask super plasma, zenith, and protos. I think there are definitely benefits to either a kask model or a protos. For me the Zenith fits my noggin the best, and i get a better seal on the muffs.
Pfanner Protoss is hi-end gear, really great, but you're paying a premium to have everything integrated and streamlined inside the shell (useful when climbing, but not maybe necessary when felling). Still, if it's in your budget, go for it. You won't be disappointed. The Kask Hi-V is very comfortable. It's what I wear daily.
