An Idiot Abroad is a British travel documentary comedy television series broadcast on Sky One, as well as a series of companion books published by Canongate Books, [1] created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant and starring Karl Pilkington. [2]
Sick of It is a British comedy-drama television series that premiered on Sky One on 27 September 2018. [1] [2] It was created and written by Karl Pilkington and Richard Yee (who also directed the series). [3] Pilkington stars as both lead characters, playing his namesake Karl, and the voice inside his head that takes the form of his Doppelgänger.
The series is an animated version of the popular audio podcasts and audiobooks of the same name, which feature Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant (creators of The Office and Extras) along with colleague and friend Karl Pilkington, talking about various subjects behind the microphone.
Topics include Karl's view on modern technology, his take on population control, the first monkey in space, and paranormal activity (or "weird stuff", as Karl puts it), including a cursed tankard, flies and a condom, and a spooky shopping list.
The Moaning of Life is a British travel documentary comedy television series broadcast on Sky 1. It follows Karl Pilkington around the world as he visits other cultures. [1]
