3 kwi 2015 · I just installed a set of Readylift 2.25" rear lift blocks and I was a little confused on the torques specs. The GM specs are 75 ft-lb but the directions from ready lift says to use 120 ft-lbs. I did the 120 but should I loosen them up and torque them at a lower spec?
Once all of the bolts have been hand tightened you can begin to torque them down to 133 ft-lbs. From here if you have a RWD model you can reassemble the braking system and wheel and be done. If you have a 4WD model however you will need to install the cv axle into the hub and tighten down the center axle nut to 177 ft-lbs.
Support the vehicle at curb height when re-torquing the leaf spring bolts/nuts. Note: Do not remove the fuel tank. Refer to SI for torque specifications.

19 maj 2014 · Does anybody know what the torque spec is for the rear axle u bolts? I tried the search button and I found one that said 110 and one that was 148 ft/lbs. I have new plates that I welded tabs onto for my traction bars and want to make sure they're tightened to spec. Thanks in advance.
