The Holy Kaaba was attacked. On the very first day of Hajj, the Qarmatians attacked Makkah with the intention to steal Hajr e Aswad. The Qarmatians’ army came up with their horses and entered Masjid al-Haram. They started massacring the pilgrims brutally.
