This is the first design I came up with. The most basic idea is this: place 9 iridium sprinklers in a 3x3 grid, then place quality sprinklers along one vertical and one horizontal axis. This will give you one extra sprinkler coverage space that sits OUTSIDE of the junimo collection area.
In the future if you're trying to plan out Junimo Huts + Sprinklers + Scarecrows, I recommend this website. It lets you plot out your "farm" so that you don't miss any spots & can best maximize your land. You can import your current savefile for easier editing.
The idea did start as a plan to maximize the amount of Junimo hut spaces covered by sprinklers, because the 17x17 layout of the Junimo huts really annoyed me. XD; I saw a lot of people using paths and other ways of dealing with the excess collection space on the edges, but I didn't see anyone using the excess space for flowers.
