I found the Microsoft Activation Scripts at https://github.com/massgravel/Microsoft-Activation-Scripts/releases and it seemed that a lot of folks use it and didn't find any reports of problems. I used MAS 1.5 today and it activated Windows and Office and installed the renewal properly.
