18 lut 2016 · I'm getting a date from a database that sometimes has spaces in the times (there isn't a way to clean up DB as I don't have control). I need to remove the spaces so I can format it to a Javascrpt date.
The trim() method removes whitespace from both sides of a string. The trim() method does not change the original string.
29 maj 2012 · trim() only removes trailing spaces on the string (first and last on the chain). In this case this regExp is faster because you can remove one or more spaces at the same time. If you change the replacement empty string to '$', the difference becomes much clearer: var string= ' Q W E R TY ';
