Most of the ramps are open just during park hours, although the ramps at Ebenezer Church and Robeson Creek are open 24 hours a day. The state also maintains nearly 14 miles of hiking trails in the Jordan Lake Recreation Area.

The ramps at Ebenezer Church and Robeson Creek are open 24 hours. All other ramps are open during park operating hours. The Seaforth and New Hope Overlook Rec areas both feature 6 ramps and Vista Point Rec area features 4 ramps. All day use ramps are open to the public and feature floating docks next to the ramps.
