The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) (Arabic: القوات المسلحة الأردنية, romanized: Al-Quwwat Al-Musallaha Al-Urduniyya), also referred to as the Arab Army (Arabic: الجيش العربي, Al-Jaysh Al-Arabi), are the military forces of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Currently there are 190 tanks in service and they are being replaced entirely by the new Leclerc tank donated from United Arab Emirates. 36 captured from Iran during the Iran–Iraq War and transferred by Saddam Hussein to Jordan in 1980.
