Jon Scott Dunkle (born October 11, 1960), known as The Peninsula Serial Killer, is an American serial killer who murdered three young boys in Belmont, California between 1981 and 1985. [1] Dunkle was convicted of two of the murders in 1989 and was sentenced to death early the following year. [2]

He was Jon Scott Dunkle born in 1961 and was 20 during his first murder to 24 on his last. He was known as the Peninsula killer who abducted little boys and stabbed them to death after raping them. His first victim was John Davies who was 15 when he vanished. Dunkle was a family friend.
