Jacobs Medical Center at UC San Diego Health is a 364-bed advanced medical center home to inpatient care, surgical facilities, outpatient clinics, a blood bank, and a pharmacy. It is connected to Perlman Medical Offices and includes Thornton Pavilion, an inpatient facility formerly Thornton Hospital.
