3 kwi 2017 · First, it was to make people aware of the miracle. Second, it would give Him the opportunity to reveal He was the Son of God. So, this is not an overturning of the Law. It is Christ using the Law to reveal Himself. Carrying the bed brought glory to God. Carrying the bed was an act of worship. When we bring God glory we keep the Sabbath day holy.
First, A resurrection that now is (v. 29), a resurrection from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, by the power of Christ's grace. The hour is coming, and now is. It is a resurrection begun already, and further to be carried on, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God.

Two miracles – the turning of water to wine and the healing of the official’s son – bracket the section, beginning and end. We learned a lot about Jesus from chapters two through four.
