Welcome to the 2024 Jimmy Fund tournament! This year's tournament will be held from July 7-19 (weather permitting). With 9 teams participating, each team will be guaranteed four games of pool play, with four teams moving on to a single-elimination playoff (full schedule below).
Jimmy Fund Little League presented by Franklin Sports provides more than 5,000 Little League baseball and softball players throughout New England the chance to continue playing after their regular season ends, while fundraising for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
2023 Jimmy Fund Baseball/Softball Tournaments. July 19-25 10U & Intermediate & Senior. July 26- August 1 , 12U. This program enables Little Leaguers (league ages 8-16) to continue playing baseball & softball after the conclusion of the regular season.
Summer - Jimmy Fund. Following the Spring Baseball season, Melrose Little League participates in the Jimmy Fund Baseball League. The league is open to players 8 & up who will compete against teams from other towns in District 12. The four divisions of play are based on age: 8/9, U10, U11 and U12.

The schedule is as follows: Group A. Group A will play the following Sundays: 1/12, 1/26, 2/9, 2/23, 3/9, 3/23. 9:00am-10:30am – AA Baseball (5-6 year olds based on 2025 baseball age matrix) 10:45am-12:15pm – AAA Baseball (7-8 year olds based on the 2025 age matrix) Group B.
Tentative start date for the 2024JF tournament is July 5. JF tournament is open to 10's 11's and 12's. 9's will have a division if enough enter or they are welcome to play with the 10's. 11's to play Mon Wed Fri. 10's to play Tues Thurs Sat. 12's Any day.
