13 mar 2017 · Jehovah Jireh means that God is watching us very closely, searching for our needs and then providing for us when that need arises. It is God sending His Son to die for us to give us life in Him.
Following a Jewish tradition of not pronouncing God's proper name, YHWH is generally translated in English bibles as "the L ORD" or "G OD" in capital letters, just as in Jewish worship it is traditionally not pronounced but the word Adonai or Elohim ("God") is used instead.

In Hebrew, “The-Lord-Will-Provide” is Jehovah-Jireh. There’s a deep lesson in this name, for Isaac was a symbol of Christ, the only begotten Son whom the Father offered as a sacrifice for our sins on the mountains of Jerusalem, which is also known as Mount Moriah.
