JetPens is legit. I order from them from time to time. They ship from San Jose and provide guides and videos that are helpful for beginners. You didn't mention what fountain pens but I'll give you the sites I can name off the top of my head.
I love JetPens! Everything is in its original packaging (mostly the pens and pencils), and they have such a wide selection and new things pretty often. The reviews are also really good and pretty extensive for most of the products since a lot of the shoppers know their stationary.
JetPens is my go-to, they are fantastic. I've also dealt with Goulet Pens and Wonder Pens (Canada). All three are great and run by great folks.

24 kwi 2017 · Jetpens is great, I've only had positive experiences. Items are well packed, and shipping is very prompt. Also, if you subscribe to their newsletter, they often have promos where you get a gift with any purchase over a certain amount.
