Given Spirit's propensity for charging for every blessed thing, can I gate check a stroller without it counting against any luggage/carry-on limit? We've never had a problem before, but we've never flown Spirit before (and although we haven't left yet, I doubt we will ever again).

Others, like American Airlines for example, will only permit you to check one stroller or one car seat at the gate.
