2 lut 2006 · I run 2 relays. 1 for 12v to the ignition, ECM power and injectors, and 1 for the fuel pump. I use the basic 30 amp aux lighting relays from the parts store. If the harness came with the factory fuel pump relay than I retain that relay. If not I use the 2nd 30 amp relay for the fuel pump.

3 lip 2018 · I have a 1993 Ford F-150, 4.9L, fuel injected, dual tanks, lots of miles i am replacing the fuel pump on the front tank. In the process of diagnosing a fuel pump problem, I did a little bit of electrical diagnosing to make sure the pump was getting the 12v at the pump, which it was.
16 lis 2024 · Fuel level sender is the thinner purple wire and the black with the white stripe. Some pumps use a different pigtail connector, and possibly different colors on the pigtail wiring harness. Refer to the instructions and diagram that came with the pump to connect that new pigtail.
