8 gru 2019 · I was cataloging some recently obtained records recently, and discovered that one of them is a rather rare: a mono first pressing of Jefferson Airplane Takes Off of the first type described here:
Jefferson Airplane Takes Off is the debut studio album by the American rock band Jefferson Airplane, released on 15 August 1966 by RCA Victor. The personnel differs from the later "classic" lineup: Signe Toly Anderson was the female vocalist and Skip Spence played drums.

It also has the unaltered lyrics on “Let Me In” and “Run Around”. These copies are the first batch and are extremely rare, with near mint copies going in the thousands. Version 2: unaltered lyrics without “Runnin’ Round This World”
