I did some searching and did the soft reboot and hard reboot methods, by holding both the volume button and browse button at the same time for 10 to 20 seconds, but that didn't work.

2 lip 2023 · Since yesterday, all of the sudden, my radio wouldn’t boot in my Jeep Wrangler 4XE JL from 2021, the screen stays all black. No matter what I do it won’t boot anymore. I’ve tried pulling fuse F97 for a while, but no avail.
17 mar 2016 · I currently have sirius and uconnect so I picked the 430N RHB to be plug and play with the 4 connectors. I phoned the dealership and they said my jeep may need to be enabled for the 430N unit but they said that may not be the issue. The screen is black with some faint lines in it when turned on.
20 kwi 2024 · I've discovered a potential fix for the black screen issue that sometimes occurs with REC Radios. If your radio's screen is black but the radio works, and only the CD Load/Eject button, preset button, and volume/power knob are functional, this might help.
