You don't need to do very much 'homework', but you should be generally aware of modern technology. Buy your stereo at Crutchfield and they will sell you the appropriate adapter for your specific vehicle.
28 mar 2023 · Is anyone here using one of the many portable Apple CarPlay screens? These units seems like a perfect solution for me because I would rather keep my factory head unit, just wondering about any pros/cons or issues you may have experienced.
3 wrz 2012 · I had some interesting computer related issues while I was using a Metra CHTO-013-BB adapter with my aftermarket stereo, and I could be wrong but it does seem like one of them was related to TPMS.
26 gru 2020 · To avoid having to cut/splice the wires, you can buy adapters which plug into the existing harness and then hook up to the new speakers. You'll find this info elsewhere on the forum too. 2019 Trailhawk - Velvet Red, V6

3 kwi 2018 · I installed a double DIN Sony touch screen last year. It was easy. I buy my stuff from Crutchfield, they send you everything you need. Came with harness adapter that plugged right in as well as a new center dash bezel w/ a double DIN opening.
