16 wrz 2023 · I was wondering if anyone has ever tried doing a test on running a ground wire from the front battery to the back battery versus just grounding the secondary battery with a short ground wire somewhere in the back of the vehicle frame? Which is better to do and why?

15 maj 2008 · It supplies ground to the starter relay a few inches away and stops a lot of 'Starter' and 'Battery' problems that are actually 'Ground' problems. You DO NOT have to use the fender. Anyplace you can locate your binding post will be fine.
16 lut 2023 · you can run another ground wire to connect the old stereo ground to the fire wall. i would beef up the grounds in the jeep. i ran 2 gauge grounds to these points. starter bolt direct. engine block near the alternator. front header for lights and wench. firewall.
22 lis 2021 · Jeep doesn't supply a red ignition wire and the blue amp turn-on wire won't work with the alpine premium sound. You need a can bus adapter such as the PAC adapter from pac audio. It will turn on the amp through can bus and supply the red wire you need.
