8 lut 2014 · My factory GM HEI pulled out of a '77 Chevy van has been working flawlessly since 1998. The only thing that's been done to it was to convert it to the eight pin ignition module and disable the advance so that my EFI now controls the spark timing.
25 kwi 2019 · The new correctly adapted HEI distributor has just one input power wire (ON/OFF) lead that is fed by the ignition key switch, and a lead for an HEI compatible tachometer, if one is desired. So simple, and much more reliable than the other distributors that came with our IHs when they were new.
