  6. 17 mar 2016 · I know some do not like the HEI but is there a better alternative that eliminates points? I am open to other options but the dead simple hook up of the HEI units and the ~110.00 cost is hard to overlook. The Delco would still be points based even if the load on it is reduced prolonging life.

  7. 8 sty 2015 · Howell EFI: white wire coming from the throttle body (was connected to the coil before the HEI conversion) is now connected to a green wire that comes from the tach. The green tach wire is connected directly to the distributor. Davis DUI: A red and white wire are connected to it directly from the tach.
