Using inter-process communication mechanisms, it aims to make it possible to run 32-bit plug-ins in 64-bit hosts, or even bridging 32-bit plug-ins to 32-bit hosts, allowing you to overcome the memory limitations of a single 32-bit process, in this last case.
9 gru 2017 · Just tried NetVST in MuLab 8 (64-bit), works fine there, too. (Tried to bridge down to an old 32-bit VST on localhost.) The only caveat is that Windows (7) applied "compatibility settings" to mulab.exe after the endeavour. Cool, thanks for the info. Yes, NetVST can even bridge windows VSTs into Macs as there is a wine version.

7 lut 2013 · I used to use the latest version of Jbridge in Studio One to run some 32 bit plugins and while it was workable, it wasn't very stable. Are there any alternative bridges for Windows that aren't DAW-specific?
23 maj 2010 · As I user of both Cubase and Sonar, I must say that Jbridge is *A LOT* easier to use with the latter. Basically it works automatically, all you have to do is tell Sonar which 32-bit plugin you want handled by Jbridge and which by Sonar's own Bitbridge.
