My time at WLKY News in Louisville is coming to an end. It’s been such an honor to work for the number one station these last few years. I’ve been able to learn and grow so much while working with the amazing Chief Meteorologist Jay Cardosi and the fantastic, dedicated WLKY weather team. I’ve truly enjoyed my time here, but it’s time for a change.

WLKY’s Jay Cardosi creates a weather monster in 1997. Not the only Louisville kid I know of inspired by local news weatherpeople that grew up to be a meteorologist, either. I went to high school with Ryan Hoke, now on WAVE-3, and he knew he wanted to be a meteorologist even before then. It makes me unreasonably happy to see him living out his dream
