I rank season 4 as the second best as I think it's just a bit better than season 1 and it's overall actually quite strong with the biggest flaw being the sunfire elf plot being so disconnected. It's definitely a huge step up from the season 3 and shifting focus to Claudia was also a nice change of pace.
Exact same ranking. First three seasons showed steady improvement while season 4 is a little weaker than season 3 due largely to it having to reintroduce us to the characters and world after the timeskip.
