8 mar 2010 · Get a turbo/manifold/downpipe from almost any kit (not ebay) like a Greddy (make the manifold cuts) or BEGI or basic FM, install the AFPR (looks like a flying saucer) and you're good to go. An intercooler is probably what decides the range of 150-170.

The base GReddy kit was designed to add some oomph to the stock 1.6L Mazda Miata so we wouldn't be outrun by minivans. =) It came with all the parts necessary to run 4.5psi of boost. It was put together as a low boost kit built around the Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbo.
8 mar 2010 · The 6" ring gear in the differential of 1.6 NA Miatas is marginal with higher power. So you need to plan on doing mild starts off the line (no drag launches) or replace it with a 1.8, 7" differential.
