28 gru 2014 · Dec 28, 2014. #1. Ive been looking around for a professional built AKRA clone engine and have found several builders. Of course most of them say the same thing. Race our engine or chase it. Just looking for actual racers opinions on differant builders. Obviously price is a factor.
25 wrz 2022 · Have been weighing my options out before making a final decision. I searched all I could about smedling engines. I like the 383 they offer 4in bore and 3.8 stroke. They offer different cams to choose from and I asked about their heads they use. I was told they flow like afr's.
29 wrz 2015 · GM doesn't make a Pontiac crater. When asked if we have crate engines, I tell them we'll be happy to put it in a crate if it makes them feel better. Of course, "shipped" engines are ALWAYS in a crate. A good "local" shop WILL build you a better engine, but more money, as stated.
