24 cze 2024 · When you have a modded game, you CANNOT USE THE STEAM PLAY BUTTON. That's literally defeating the purpose of downgrading. When the game is run by clicking PLAY on steam, it *detects that the game is erroneously running the old version* and is supposed to update itself.

Make sure F4SE is not being blocked by your virus/spyware scanner. It sounds like access to the My Documents folder (and the .ini file setting language options) is being denied. Failing that, make sure that you don't have multiple users with different .ini files.
