Started using my iPhone 5 again and have found some serious difficulties jailbreaking it. It's running iOS 7.0.3 currently. Firstly, there only jailbreak tool I can find for iOS 7.0 is evasi0n. However, I keep getting the "failed to retrieve the package from the internet" problem.

Question. So i found an old iPhone 4 with iOs 7.0.3, i remember it was my mom's and when she tried to update to 7.1.2, it kinda melted and she had to downgrade so updating is not really an option. So I was wondering if there are still jailbreaks for 7.0.3 to install cydia.

I’m just asking how long before app support runs dry out and the jailbreak becomes pointless, I have a iPhone 12 too as my main on 16.1.1 but I doubt a jailbreak will come out any time soon, so I’m not sure if I’ll have update that at some point.
