10 kwi 2015 · The Urban Ministry Center in Charlotte distributes around 800 sandwiches every day to the homeless in Charlotte. Churches and other groups reserve a date to make and donate those sandwiches. They ask for 800 sandwiches.
29 lip 2020 · Trinity’s Operation Sandwich Team is a group of Trinity members and their friends and neighbors who are making sandwiches and non-perishable lunches for Urban Ministry Center. UMC is providing anywhere from 300 – 500 lunches per day to our homeless neighbors.
Our Reach: Each time we meet, we are able to make enough sandwiches to feed 500-525 homeless in less than an hour. Since we started we have made over 110,000 sandwiches! How to get involved: Simple! We meet every other Wednesday evening at 6:00pm and make sandwiches!
