One that has often gotten my friends who are not interested in wrestling a moment to ponder, and in a few cases actually start watching. Wrestling isn't fake. It's scripted. It's fight craft, no different than what you'd see in a theatrical setting, except performed at a very, very high level.
The two (four including their network exclusive shows, five if a PPV that week, and soon to be six) weekly televised shows don't actually make the WWE much money, and sponsorship isn't actually that strong of a finical aid, all those, including the network, is to promote the shows and merchandise.
I got through the peak of the nWo (their debut to about mid-late 97) and basically all the RAW's from 93 to 95 in that time frame. So, unless you do nothing but watch wrestling 24/7 for 8 months, it's not happening. My advice is pretty simple: Pick the promotion you care about experiencing the most. Or the time period.
