23 kwi 2013 · Vespiquen can be great fun in the main game but plays a different role in competitive, after all. Basically a staller with dubious typing and a 4x weakness to the eternal stealth rock is something I wouldn't ordinarily touch with a 20ft pole in an online match.

Got a lucky combee in trade and haven't seen anything hating or praising vespiquen. Is it any good in raids or pvp as of right now? If so, which moveset to use?
I personally think Vespiquen is one of the best designed Pokémon overall. In fact it's my favorite bug type Pokémon beating out Scyther, Orbettle, Frosmoth, Volcarona and Heracross by a sizable margin with Mega Beedrill taking 2nd place.
To get to the point, I see great potential in Vespiquen being used much more often in the competitive scene of SV due to Terrastilisation. It has great bulk as a wall, slow enough to be used in Trick Room and praying for its reliable recovery to come back in the form of Heal Order/Roost.
