The first, operating out of Brussels has been adopted by the Illinois Dept. of Transportation. It operates 24 hours a day and is free.

The free Brussels Ferry (618-786-3636) is the access point on the southeast end of the county which is also home to the Two Rivers National Wildlife Refuge. The orchards and roadside stands are plentiful, especially during peach season.
