I moved to port Chester shortly before covid so am only now learning about the rich restaurant and night life. The coops on summit are an easy walk from the train and downtown, and the area generally feels very safe.
Things I like about it: very safe, walkable downtown and train, very diverse, good restaurants (particularly if you like Latin American - we could really use sushi and wine bar), good grocery stores and a big movie theater- hopefully the Capitol Theater will be back soon. I love walking around and our big park is nice.
