I would like recommendations for a good moveset to take on the rest of the region (I just beat Koga). My Blastoise is already level 58, So the only move it can learn by leveling is Hydro Pump. Any advice is welcome!
20 lip 2010 · With a Wacan Berry, Blastoise can tank electric moves from Zacian-C, Kyogre, and even a dynamaxed Geomancy Xerneas. Sitrus Berry is also a good option if you want instant recovery, which, in doubles, is better than the passive recovery provided by Leftovers.
20 lip 2010 · Balanced Blastoise Moveset. 252 SDef is good for defending against Special super-effective moves since theres many special type moves in the electric/grass categories. Iron Defence and Skull Bash even out your Defence stats quickly since Blastoise can take a few T-bolts etc. while setting up.
30 lis 2022 · 248 SpD EVs gives Iron Hands special bulk. 44 Speed EVs allow Iron Hands to outspeed Blissey. 92 Attack EVs allow Iron Hands to OHKO Garchomp with Ice Punch when Electric Terrain is up due to Quark Drive. 72 HP EVs along with 52 Defense EVs allow Iron Hands to live a +2 Earthquake from Dragonite.
Don't disregard Brick Break as a joke, Blastoise owns Lorelei with it; otherwise Blastoise is useless against her. For Pokemon FireRed Version on the Game Boy Advance, a GameFAQs message...
12 mar 2008 · If you want to use the Blastoise with a careful nature, I would suggest putting physical moves onto it such as Earthquake and Brick Break rather than Surf and Ice Beam. You could also use it as a subpuncher, like this:
