I've been trying to figure out how to download iris so I can use shaders in minecraft. The only problem is when downloading Iris from the site, I try to open it, but it doesn't show up on my desktop as an installer, but instead as a jar file.
When I attempt to open the Iris installer using java, a small black block (I'm assuming is the command prompt) pops up briefly but other than that nothing else happens. The Installer isn't actually being downloaded as nothing else pops up.
My workaround is by installing Iris in a Windows virtual machine and then copying the files to the host computer, but this is a rather tedious and annoying process to do. If someone needs it: Kernel: 5.13.9-arch1-1
