Very nice tutorial! I have an iPod Touch 4th gen too and it was pretty hard to find a working jailbreak. One thing I would like to say though is that I use iTunes to install IPAs. It is pretty easy. I prefer using versions 10 or 11 for legacy devices.

For reference: I bought an iPod touch 4th Gen to relive my childhood with various apps like subway surfers, bad piggies, tiny tower, etc. but realized it won’t connect to any servers anymore. I jailbroke it and am now at a complete loss for what to do next to make it useable and accomplish my goal of total childhood nostalgia.
Is there ANY jailbreaking tools that still work for this device? i have spent too many hours trying to do this. (custom firmware, 3uTools, Ipsws, and many other software tools i found online, Usually there is some error message or it doesnt reconize the device. Please Help!
