Consider this a cross-post from the YouTube TV sub-Reddit, but I found myself with the unique opportunity to test the picture quality of YouTube TV vs. Hulu Live TV vs. Xfinity Stream (not cable) head-to-head on the same television, and the results suprised me. Primary testing platform: Router: TP-Link AX6000 on the 5Ghz Wi-Fi band.

TLDR: During my 30 minute testing window Hulu Live TV did use 22.8% more bits to deliver the same video. However, YouTube TV is using a ~50% more efficient video codec. Picture quality was essentially the same.
