10 paź 2023 · On my iPads and iPhone, YouTube chat for replayed videos does not appear in either the YouTube app nor on Chrome. But when I open them in Safari, the chat appears. I believe this is a relatively new problem (say, in the past 6 months or so), but it definitely preceeded iOS/iPadOS 17.
I have this weird issue where live chat is missing on my browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Opera). For some reason, if I am logged in, the live chats would be blank/missing. If I am not signed in, I can see the chat. My android phone can see the chat and it is logged in to the same account.
My only concern is how a youtube video with live chat like this or this on youtube app would display on it as I can’t test it out in the apple store in my country because all the ipads there are in demo mode and i can’t install youtube app on them.

Live chat replay doesn't show up. Bug. I streamed for 2 hours, had some conversation in chat going, stopped streaming and now when I replay the video there is no chat anywhere. In video edit, tab Customization "Live chat replay" option is enabled.
